Subrata Kumar Das,
a critic, essayist and translator was born at Kamarkhali
in the district of Faridpur in 1964. He is the fifth
child among eight of his parents Geeta Rani Das and
Late Baidyanath Das. He graduated with honours and
completed his masters in English form Rajshahi University.
Since January 1990, he has been teaching in different
colleges, with a few exceptions of about two years.
His
fields of interest are fiction and education.He has
authored six books along with many articles to his credit.
